TUTORIAL PAGE
MEDIA:  Varied media (collage, ink, pencils, watercolor, marker, papers)
PROCEDURES: Students begin with instruction on various techniques and tools for making interesting compositions in their journals.  JOURNAL PROMTS:
The creative process
Drawing pencils and values ranges
Elements and Principles ( review)
Ink splat drawing
Masking tape resist
Collage and typography combo
INTUITIVE VIDEOS: Watch several videos and tutorials on intuitive drawing and painting.
MATERIALS: Students will gather at least two large sheets of cardboard and other needed materials they want to work with.
CREATE A PLAN: Students will decide upon a technique, gather their needed materials and begin their piece. Students need not plan because we want them to let the drawing evolve intuitively. This will be easy for some students and hard for others. Some students will want to write down various inspirations and ideas in their journals.
