Watercolor metamorphic paintings

Students will create a large painting on watercolor paper using a variety of water based media ( sketch and wash pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolor paints, water soluble oil pastels) which visually explains their interpretation of metamorphosis. Students should create idea pages and sketch compositions in journals and explore possible solutions in their journals.
